The company provides full range of valuation services, inventory of assets, property, plant & equipment and examination services.

GVC’s appraisers and auditors are Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) in the UK and are awarded status of Recognized European Valuers (REV) recognized by the TEGoVA. Both statuses indicate excellence in real estate valuation demonstrating that valuers are qualified to a consistent high standard of practice. The members of the company are the founders of the Independent Valuers Society of Georgia (IVSG) which is an associate member of TEGoVA - an organization that brings together 71 valuers' associations from 37 countries.

Projects

Valuation and Inventory of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway

One of the largest international valuation and inventory projects implemented by a local company in Georgia. Within the framework of the project, GVC appraised and provided inventory of the main assets of the 250-kilometer railway line and related ancillary farms.

Revaluation of assets of the Bank of Georgia for the London Stock Exchange

Bank of Georgia is the leading bank in the Caucasus region, which listed its shares on the London Stock Exchange in 2006 and in 2012 gained a premium listing. GVC is the first company in Georgia to revalue hundreds of assets for the London Stock Exchange in accordance with the International Valuation Standards (IVS).

Valuation of Marriott Hotels Network

For several years now, GVC has been periodically re-evaluating the Marriott chain hotels in Tbilisi to international standards for the EBRD.

Valuation of Poti Terminals

Poti Seaport has been the most important strategic point for the Georgian economy for more than a hundred years. Our company has re-evaluated oil terminals, methanol terminal and has conducted an inventory of these facilities.

Valuation of HeidelbergCement Plants

HeidelbergCement is a well-known international brand and one of the largest investors in Georgia. GVC evaluated HeidelbergCement plants in Rustavi and Kaspi, which are the largest not only in Georgia but in the Caucasus region. The company also carried out valuation of fixed assets and supplies of these plants.

Besik Diakonidze is the General Director of GVC with 22 years of professional experience in valuation. He is the co-founder and president of the the Independent Valuers Society of Georgia (IVSG). He is a certified auditor and a certified valuer of real property, personal property and business. Besik is a full member of the Georgian Federation of Professional Valuers, a certified appraiser of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (EECO) and an honorary member of the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers.

Giorgi Lezhava is the CEO and Founder of GVC, with 22 years of experience in the field of valuation and auditing. He is a co-founder and board member of the Independent Valuers Society of Georgia (IVSG), a certified auditor, certified valuer of real property, personal property and business. In addition, Giorgi is a certified valuer of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (EECO) and an honorary member of the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers. He holds a PhD in Technical Sciences.

Nino Beraia is the Head of Valuation of GVC, who has been working in the field of valuation since 2006. She holds a PhD in Economics. Besides, she teaches Certificate Courses of Professional Valuers on the topics of Property, Plant and Equipment Valuation and Business Valuation. Nino is a certified auditor and a certified valuer of real property, personal property and business. In addition, she is a Co-Founder and Vice President of the Independent Valuers Society of Georgia (IVSG), an honorary member of the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers and Member of European Business Valuation Standards Committee (EBVSC).

Lasha Lezhava is a Chief Valuer at GVC, who has been working in the field of valuation since 2012. Lasha has worked on valuation projects for leading banks, insurance companies, industrial and other large companies in Georgia. Besides, he was the Chief Specialist of Infrastructure Projects at Tbilisi Development Fund and a Real Estate Valuer (Invited Specialist) at Georgia Revenue Service. He is a Certified Valuer of Real and Personal Property, a member of the Independent Valuers Society of Georgia (IVSG) and member of the Ukrainian Appraisers Association. He has successfully completed a RICS accredited training course Advanced Studies in Urbanism and Real Estate Development (Bucharest, Romania).
